Born on the first day of spring, LexL celebrated her first breath of air on March 21st, 1987. Since early childhood, she has been capturing the very essence of life with the ever-blossoming stroke of her pen and brush.

Some days may find LexL cruising midtown on her scooter, working on her 1990 Ford Festiva L Plus or scooter, sewing the latest thread for her forthcoming clothing line, hanging out with her pup Quincy, playing organ, or lending a helping hand to that stranger/"friend-to-be" in need. Other days are spent transforming blank and empty spaces in the fabric of time and existence into pristine works of raw, unprocessed imagery reflecting the world she experiences and wishes to share. With her only formal training being grade school classes during the years of her youth (which she will tell you she failed with "a big fat F"), her technique and expression skills reveal an organic and unabashed artful craftiness.
